Teachers have been known to be creative and very resourceful. However, there are times when we need rely on other teachers and websites, in efforts to keep learning fun and exciting for students. I stumbled across the teachers corner. The teachers corner offered a variety of resources that will be helpful to teachers.
This site offered various lessons to be shared by other teachers. Teachers, can also post lessons that they would like to share with others. There are thematic units, bulletin board ideas. What is so cool about the ideas for bulletin boards on this site is that, there are different ideas for bulletin boards according to the month.There are links for other teacher resources, as well as a space for teachers to allow their students to collaborate with other students from around the world. The site also included a space for job postings and a cool chat room, that is just for teachers. I really like this site. it is full of various ways to keep teachers connected, and students learning.

It really is great to be able to share with teachers all over in order to create new ideas and to keep students motivated. It is also wonderful for older students to communicate with other students on topics. I have found many times that teacher websites are very helpful for varied ideas.
ReplyDeleteI really liked that you found the teachers corner, I have been on that site a few times and thought they had some really good activities. For the younger students I really like Starfall and Scholastic website has a lot of great games and activities to do with your class that they will enjoy, I have done a few lessons from each site, and on the Scholastic website you can get the lessons straight from other teachers.
